    • IBM

      Feb 2006 - Oct 2008
      OpenVMS Specialist

Attracted by the big name, I have joined IBM, and got assigned to a new team which started learning OpenVMS from scratch. We went live only in 3 months, taking over 1st and 2nd level support of IBM’s customer systems – and it was a success. One year later I was promoted to a “Focal point” role, effectively leading our multicultural team of 12 people, hosting team meetings, evaluating performance, acting as a point of contact for our line manager and 3rd level specialists.

    • Xura (formerly Acision)

      Nov 2008 - May 2016
Senior ICT Specialist, ICT Service&Process Manager

With Acision company, I was hired as OpenVMS/Unix specialist. Thanks to my Microsoft Server platform background, my role expanded into high-level Windows Server infrastructure. During 2010 I was working for one year with Acision USA in Texas, managing the USA headquarters and data center besides global projects. In the next years, my role kept dynamically evolving. In 2012 I was on the team that implemented ServiceNow to replace our old ITSM tool with an impossible deadline of one month to go Live. This included redesigning the processes, and going from in-the-house app into the cloud SaaS solution. We made it. One of my project lead achievements in 2014 was optimization of our core datacenter, reducing the footprint and cost by 20%, increasing utilization to 97%. When we decided to re-align the ICT department to a service delivery model in 2014, I was the key person of the transformation, being promoted to ICT Service&Process Manager. I have redesigned the Service Catalog and processes, created new ones, aligned our ITSM tool ServiceNow to reflect the changes. In 2015, when the two companies Comverse and Acision were merging into one, named Xura, I was the technical leader delivering the project of email integration to support the new email addresses starting from Day One. Delivered on time and budget – made the business (our customer) happy. Show less
