  In my role as General Manager of Outokumpu EvoCarbon, I am leading a corporate internal startup unit where mission is to support Outokumpu to achieve -42% emission intensity reduction targets by 2030. During 2023 and 2024 we achieved three major investment decisions on biocarbon and biocoke production and partnering area. Other fields under my responsibilities are carbon capture and utilization or storage and new energy solutions. I am leading a growing team of experts and project and production unit personnel. Show less Following the launch of the next step in Outokumpu strategy in June 2022, the main business area Europe was further split to two main sub-businesses. Stainless Europe business line consists of assets mostly serving commodity stainless sales and manufacturing. As a head of business controlling, I am part of management team aiming to drive Stainless Europe to be "the customer's first choice in sustainable stainless steel". In our strategy execution sustainability and cost efficiency are at the core. We care all the three pillars of ESG.
