  As a Student Orientation Leader, my role was to help first-year students become acclimated to the Manchester University campus. During the summer, in-coming students would come to set up their schedule and take care of last minute paperwork. I assisted these students with choosing their class schedule as well as getting them to certain locations on time. A few days before the upperclassmen return, first-years come for Welcome Week. With the teamwork of two other leaders, we successfully orientated about 20 first-years. This included taking them around to multiple events such as learning about safety, getting them set up on the computers as well as showing them where their classes will be.   As the intern on the wish program side, I coordinated the travel plans for the Wish Children and organized itineraries. I also researched hotels along with attractions in the area the child would be staying. In addition, I frequently spoke with families and volunteers in order to obtain crucial information.

  I worked as the Outreach and Volunteer Specialist where I assisted the Development Director with the coordination of events. I was the lead on the Hopewell Pointe Family Christmas adoption where I actively went into the community and received donations or in-kinds gifts for the families living in CANI's Hopewell Pointe subdivision. Our annual events that I assisted in are the United Way Campaign, RECAP Breakfast, and the Golf Outing. Additionally, we held poverty simulations where I was the lead for recruiting volunteers, assigning roles, and setting up the space for the simulation. Show less

  Created new process for for the lifecycle of a wish. Designed and executed training for new and current staff. Conduct weekly check ins for the Program team to ensure understanding and implementation of new process. Analyze data and utilize tools related to wish progress to monitor the accuracy of records and progress towards annual goals and chapter benchmarks. Educate the Program team on National Partnership Programs & Campaigns and work cross departmentally to meet the needs of the partnership. Show less
