      Health and Safety in School of Natural Sciences Postdoctoral researcher and project scientist developing a Laser Induced Fluorescence Optical Particle Counter (LIF-OPC) for the Centre for Climate and Air Pollution Studies, NUI, Galway. Part of an inter-national collaboration to measure bioaerosol fluorescence and size-segregated fluxes on the Atlantic coast, contributing to modelling of climate change. Postdoctoral researcher and project scientist for the ELT Instrumentation Small Study “High Time Reso-lution Instrument”, funded by the European Community (Framework Programme 6, ELT Design Study)This was a first-step study investigating the astronomical community's requirements for a high time reso-lution imager photometer, and assessing the effects and constraints the instrument could put on the de-sign and construction of the European Extremely Large Telescope.
