BaSnO₃ perovskite was chosen due to its unique properties• Scrutinized various synthesis methods, including solid-state reaction, sol-gel, hydrothermal, and polymerized complex. Co-precipitation emerged as a promising cost-effective technique, assessed for efficiency, scalability, and reproducibility, and was further modified to align with our specific research objectives.• Carried out an extensive investigation into treatments for enhancing dye-loading speed and improving charge transport properties in DSSC photoanode materials, while addressing efficiency limitations. As a result, we opted for non-equilibrium atmospheric pressure plasma jet (APPJ) treatment and implemented a dense blocking layer (BL) solution deposited using the radio-frequency sputtering method.• Responsible for working in the Nanomagnetism and Magnetic Semiconductors Laboratory (N.M.S.L.), demonstrating a creative problem-solving approach.
