      I managed an after-school homework help center at a busy urban library, supervising a team of 20 volunteers who assisted more than 170 students with homework and study skills. I recruited volunteers through outreach, advertising, and community and university partnerships; developed training modules for volunteers, coordinated volunteer schedules, and maintained databases of volunteer hours and homework center usage statistics.

Stepping in for the organization's Executive Director while she was on maternity leave, I coordinated a scholarship application review process to evaluate more than 1000 study abroad scholarship applicants. I also served as a volunteer manager, recruiting, training, and coordinating more than 60 application reviewers from higher education institutions and organizations around the U.S. After the scholarship cycle, I analyzed applicant data and reported on application trends and demographics in order to better attract students traditionally underrepresented in study abroad.
