  Order picking - While picking orders I am responsible to oversee that correct products are selected for customer orders while maintaining cleanliness of the workspace by disposing of empty boxes.Order Packing - To insure correct products are shipped out with orders we will not pack the orders we picked but switch to a packer to double check for any inventory issues. Further responsibilities include ensuring that any additional labels needed are attached to product or inserted into shipping box.Order processing | Lead Order Processor - While being the lead processor I oversee the shipping of most outgoing orders. This includes ensuring that the orders are properly packed physically and in our internal inventory system. Other responsibilities include shipping label attachment, safely stacking and wrapping pallets of completed orders for outbound shipment, organizing orders by carrier and overseeing stop of labels, tape and packing slip envelopes.Receiving - While receiving incoming transfers and orders I am required to insure all ordered items are received according to order number and replace any item labels that are damaged, missing, or not scannable.Inventory | Cycle counts - Inventory and stock can be maintained two ways either using the internal system to check all locations for a scanned item or on a cycle count using pre-printed sheets to mark and product that is short or over. Other responsibilities include restocking newly received product or down socking product on an upper shelf for easier accessablity. Fork Truck | Reach Truck - As a certified fork truck and reach truck driver it is my responsibility to go over all safety check lists before operating the equipment. The equipment is used to move stock; including to overstock locations that are roughly 20 feet off the ground.Customer service - Customer Service duties include seeing to the assistances of will call customers that come to pick up orders daily, as well as answering phone calls.
