      Key contributor leading on the technical delivery, testing, maintenance and development of the University’s learning technology platform suite.Key duties and achievements:• Proven experience of designing and developing a wide range of online learning resources, e-learning modules and digital content using a range of tools – Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline), Microsoft Office, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop. As well as working knowledge of HTML, CSS and responsive web design.• Responsible for developing new support documentation, training and other support resources for the learning technology platforms.• Lead on the development of IT system upgrade project plans, devising test plans/scripts and undertaking technical testing. By working in partnership with both internal and external stakeholders, this resulted in the successful implementation of four major upgrades of the University’s business-critical virtual learning environment and its associated tools.• Responding to student feedback, worked in partnership with students and staff to develop a new, consistent VLE module template, to help overcome the numerous usability issues reported by students affecting their online learning experience. Following extensive consultation, the template was adopted as the university standard.• Regularly provided technical support, advice, and development on the learning technology platforms to the wider Learning Technology Team. I work collaboratively with senior colleagues, external clients, and other departments to influence the structure and design of qualifications and learning programs through needs analysis and the application of relevant instructional design and adult learning theories. Show less The London Institute of Banking & Finance (LIBF) is a university college advancing banking and finance in over 120 countries, through the provision of outstanding education and thinking, tailored to the needs of business, individuals and society. They employ approximately 200 staff.Responsible for leading on the end-to-end design and development of innovative learning content for both online and blended courses. This involves providing advice, developing and delivering e-learning solutions using a range of appropriate technologies and media, to meet the pedagogical course requirements.Key duties & achievements:• Working closely with a range of stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to inform the learning design decision-making process by guiding them through the different options available, and the advantages and disadvantages of each.• Supporting SMEs to create content for online and blended courses – providing guidance and practical support, where necessary, using a range of technologies.• Designing and developing a wide range of e-learning solutions – e-learning modules, videos, audio, animations, graphics, quizzes etc. to meet the pedagogical course requirements.• Successfully re-developed several modules ranging from level 3 to level 6 (equivalent to A-levels, undergraduate and masters), as well as the development of new qualifications.• Over the last ten months, played a key role in contributing to the virtual learning environment (VLE) review project; providing pedagogic, course design and VLE management experience. This resulted in the senior leadership group accepting the project group’s recommendation to invest in a new VLE.• Microsoft Teams early adopter and ‘champion’ – successfully rolled out Microsoft teams across a matrix-structure department consisting of 15 employees, resulting in the development of new working practices and increased communication/collaboration.
