Show less Bihar Technical Support Program (BTSP) an intervention by CARE India and funded by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) supporting Bihar government to achieve Millennium Development Goals 4 & 5 i.e. Reduce Child Mortality Rates & Improve Maternal Health. The responsibility was to look after two blocks in Patna district, collaboratively works with ICDS & Health Department to improve Health & Nutritional Status of two blocks. > Provided technical inputs to Block PHC and ICDS for quality service delivery, supported PHC to improve quality and provide BEmONC services. > Conducted training and capacity building session with GNM, ANM, ASHA, AWW & MAMATA periodically on Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child Health and Nutrition (ANC & PNC, Pre & Post Delivery, EIBF, EBF, KMC, Complementary Feeding, Nutrition and Family Planning counselling). > Developed & Implemented micro-plan for convergence meeting, review and planning in Health Sub-Centre level to Block Level. > Tracked and counsel each Weak New Born (LBW), 0 to 5 Years children and pregnant women from same village. > Facilitated Family Planning Program in each villages of two blocks (Surya Clinic: Mobile Van for IUCD), supported PHC to get beneficiaries from villages for TL, NSV, IUCD and PPIUCD.
