At Rookie League, inclusion leaders support all campers and those with disabilities to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for youth of a diverse backgrounds and needs. I develop and lead exceptional programming for youth, as well as elevate camper experience with my imagination and inspiration.   As the Camper Care Lead at the Senior Y camp, I am responsible for overseeing the camp counselors who are integral members of the YMCA's Accessibility and Inclusion program. In this role, I provide strong leadership by actively monitoring, coaching, and mentoring these counselors. I consistently offer constructive feedback, conduct performance appraisals, and oversee their direct reports.Furthermore, I directly support campers who are part of the Inclusion program or facing challenges during their camp experience. I directly deal with and provide resources to problem-solve with developmentally disabled and intellectually disabled youth. The DSU advocates for student rights, builds community on campus through events, supports over 300 societies, and provides focused services to foster a supportive and positive student experience.In my role as the Internal Commissioner, I am a driving force behind the enhancement of DSU's internal affairs. My multifaceted responsibilities include the refinement of equity and accessibility policies, representing the Vice President, Internal at Society meetings, and conducting research to elevate DSU Society services. I ensure effective communication for the Student Accessibility Fund Committee while also taking a lead in establishing the Accessibility Fund report. I am instrumental in crafting comprehensive Society training programs, encompassing Primary Event Organizer, Anti-Oppression training, and Society governance and leadership training. I review society constitutions, aiding in substantial refinement of their policies. Additionally, I provide unwavering support for the Society review and ratification processes, championing disability and accessibility rights on campus and at the DSU, and maintaining scrupulous meeting records.
