      Worked as a backend Software Development Engineer (SDE I) to deliver new features, orchestrate a technical migration project into the China AWS partition, and setup infrastructure and metrics that allowed us to better monitor and improve our system’s performance. Optimised our team's software delivery process to improve our release rate by over 200%.

      Managing client accounts, from sales through to project management and delivery. Closed over R10M in venture building services and currently managing two projects and project teams. Worked as the right hand to the Director of Operations to drive operational excellence through iterative improvement in our ERP system, processes, contracts, organisational structure, and KPI definitions, tracking and reporting. Included collaboration on the internal company strategy with senior and executive leadership. Worked as the solution architect when designing technical solutions and platforms for our new clients. Collaborated closely with the product manager to design a solution that would optimise for value and speed of delivery while minimising the cost of development. This was done by assessing and explaining the business impact of optimising for scalability against cost of development and time to market based on the short and long-term business objectives of the client. Worked in the Platform team as the lead backend software engineer. The Platform team is responsible for building reusable software components and standards for the engineering department to accelerate the build time for a new client's MVP build by up to 50% while ensuring a high-quality, secure, and scalable code base.

      1st in Africa - McKinsey ProHack International Data Science Competion McKinsey Jul 2020 Competed in a team of 4 and placed 34th out of 872 in the international McKinsey Prohack data science hackathon (and first in Africa). The hackathon consisted of month-long open competition with a prediction and resource allocation problem. We used a combination of ML algorithms for the prediction part and a sigmoid function to reduce error in our allocations.
