      Dr. Albretsen was helping to collect Indiana swine herd health information. His responsibilities included entering information from several swine herds in Indiana, and compiling reports for each herd. Dr. Albretsen was responsible for assisting in the Parisitology laboratory at the Purdue Veterinary Teaching facilities. His responsibilities included identifying raccoons infected with the roundworm Baylisascaris procyonis, isolating Sarcocystis oocysts from infected dogs, and identifying Sarcocystis cysts from infected cattle.
