Desert Storm/Desert Shield veteran; served as Surveillance Director in over 50 combat zone missions on the Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft; coordinated weapon responses to eliminate enemy ground and airborne threats. Established and worked as resident advisor for the first bilingual mobile radar surveillance unit in Puerto Rico deployed during U.S. counter drug operation missions in Central and South America.   Supervise 9 Detention Liaison Officers (DLO) throughout the southern region of Arizona. The Southern DLO Unit is an intelligence and investigations component of the Gang & Immigration Intelligence Team Enforcement Mission (GIITEM). DLOs are from various sheriffs’ and corrections departments, assigned to GIITEM, state gang task force who remain at, and perform gang intelligence and investigation duties in jails and prisons. DLOs collect and report information regarding human smuggling organizations, security threat groups, criminal street gangs, and while assisting in criminal investigations.
