I schedule meetings and flights for our film industry professional guests, ensuring a pleasurable and safe experience. With SAFILM, I was able to cultivate my own skills in public speaking, graphic design, event management while also building the breadth of the film festival's reach to the film communities in San Antonio, Texas, Central Texas, and beyond.   Starting off as a Staff Writer in 2019, I transferred over to Digital Design the following to cultivate my skills in graphic design and digital illustration in a fun and engaging way that helps create a brand identity for Afterglow ATX, a digital music publication based in Austin. Beginning in May 2021, I became the Digital Design Editor for the publication, managing about a dozen designers. I organized files and assigned designs for the team over the course of the year while attending weekly editor meetings, sharing new information and creating a community within our design team.   With Las Casas, my main goal was to assist in the development of the regional Joci Awards Performance Scholarship program through community outreach. I worked directly with the Director of Communications to update logs of past scholarship recipients contact information. I helped forge new relationships with high schools theatre, music, and dance directors across South Central Texas, leading to one student from these schools winning "Best Performance by an Actor" at the "Jimmy's" National High School Musical Theatre Awards. With my work, we were able to reach otherwise overlooked communities across the San Antonio with underdeveloped theatre programs who would not otherwise have access to the theatre resources Las Casas has to offer, including tickets to Broadway in San Antonio musicals, masterclasses with touring Broadway in San Antonio casts, and workshops leading to the Joci Awards.
