  Working with industry-leading researchers at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, my team developed the ClimaTears Goggles System, a climate-controlled goggle device for standardizing test conditions while evaluating the efficacy of new treatments for Dry Eye Disease.My primary responsibilities include business development and project management, as well as leading the design of the software and electronics for the device.

  I'm working to transform our internal product telemetry capabilities and processes to help drive successful customer adoption, enable better insights for Product Management, and ensure license compliance. Partnering with leadership to deliver high-level analyses, forecasts, and KPI development as NI's software business transitions from perpetual licenses to subscription licenses. Primary analyst for NI's software business, including forecasting, KPI development, and developing new processes to increase leadership's insight into product management operations.Additionally responsible for driving the roadmap for NI's internal product telemetry and license compliance tracking capabilities, including ensuring GDPR compliance. Responsible for leading analyses to provide useful insights and recommendations to the business. This included developing an extensive knowledge of existing customer and product data systems, understanding the key inputs to strategic decisions, and managing across teams to build tools and analyses to inform those specific questions. Additional responsibilities involve serving as the BI and IT liaison to manage project intake, prioritization, and staffing against key initiatives. I was responsible for driving the efficiency and consistency of NI's global customer education program. This included driving scalable, sustainable global policies and processes for delivering a world class training experience. Additional responsibilities included systems & tool implementation to support key initiatives, process development, localization management, asset management & coordination, measuring progress toward key business objectives, and instructor quality. I was responsible for the quality and customer experience of National Instruments' training courses, which take place worldwide. In addition to identifying and addressing technical problems or opportunities in the course materials, I was responsible for the most important aspect of any course -- the Instructor. When possible, I enjoyed personally training new Instructors, and I also worked with our worldwide branches to help them develop Instructors. While an Applications Engineer, I specialized in helping customers design, implement, and troubleshoot machine vision and motion control applications. As a Team Leader for Vision/Motion product support, I managed approximately ten fellow engineers and led the development of new training for future Applications Engineers in my group.
