  • Working with the Test Manager, Business Analysts and Project Managers, defines the detail of the test scripts and supports as an SME to for change of process. Use of Quality Center to capture all test prep and execution.• Ensures that pre-requisites are in place before beginning testing, and ensures that clear completion criteria are defined.• Working with the Test Manager, inputs into the overall test execution plan, at all stages of testing.• Executes test scripts - performs the User Acceptance Testing, recording all details to allow tests and outcome to be recreated.• Engages with all stakeholders for JLFS Business Acceptance testing, documenting, summarising and presenting test outcomes. • Reports at all stages of testing to the Test Manager, Project/Programme Managers and articulates recommendations for successful completion.• Raise defects, recording and reviewing priorities with Test Manager to ensure high quality of delivered systems. Show less John Lewis recognised my hard working attitude and offered me the position of Systems Support Technician in Branch, I hit the ground running and with little training was able to build a quick understanding of our computer systems and provide front line support to staff in store. The role has quickly developed, and given me exposure to many new challenges. The systems I work with on a daily basis include Service Now, Salesforce, Oracle, IBM Mainframe, my responsibilities include:- Administering user access for our large number of applications including managing users within Active Directory- Providing first line IT Support to users in branch- Managing incidents in branch until a solution is implemented- Rolling out new projects in store, such as new applications and hardware- Providing systems training to users- Managing several dual rollers who provide basic support in my absenceIn February 2015 I started a six month secondment in the John Lewis Stratford Full Line Branch in London to gain working experience working within a larger branch. I am working in the same role as above but in a team of four looking after more than 500 workers. Since starting at Stratford I have been applying knowledge and experience gained from Ashford, which has been recognised with several visits to Head Office to work on projects including the transition from Lotus Notes to Google Mail and problematic areas of process in branch, including stock loss.
