  During my training period, I received comprehensive instruction in the startup, shutdown, and synchronization of the Waste Heat Recovery Power Plant (WHRPP) for one month. For the following two months, I received extensive training on the cement production line and the chemistry involved in troubleshooting it.After completing the training, I was assigned several duties. My primary responsibilities include ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of boilers and their related auxiliaries. Additionally, I am responsible for generating daily, monthly, and yearly reports for the plants.Another critical aspect of my role is minimizing the consumption of auxiliary water and steam, and maintaining the necessary water parameters and chemical stocks. During the shutdowns, I report on the inspection of equipment rust conditions and ensure that all necessary repairs and replacements are carried out.I also prepared a feasibility report on the installation of the 2nd RO membrane to enhance water quality, and I ensure that all parameters are met before drains are channeled.Lastly, I coordinate with the mechanical, electrical, and instrument departments to ensure that all activities are in line with established protocols and requirements.   As a Production Engineer in the Production Department, I am responsible for operating the pyro-system and ensuring the safe and optimum operation of the clinker production process. This involves monitoring and controlling pyro-process equipment and utilities to maintain continuous production.I am also responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting potential operating problems, either in consultation with seniors or independently when immediate action is necessary to ensure continuity of production. In addition, I take action to prevent or rectify abnormal production situations and minimize the risk of harm to personnel or environmental damage.To maintain constant control over equipment, instruments, and the process, I monitor and direct pyro-system attendants and provide work direction as necessary. This helps ensure that all aspects of the process are properly controlled, and that any issues are identified and addressed promptly.Furthermore, I assist in maintenance jobs with respect to the refractory lining to ensure the quality and quantity of the lining. By doing so, I help ensure that the pyro-system operates efficiently and effectively, with minimal downtime.Overall, my role as a Production Engineer is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the pyro-system and the production process.
