Feb 2001 - May 2010I managed all marketing and communications for the BMW Financial Services head office and the BMW dealer network, according to BMW Germany Head Office directives including: - Creating and managing a marketing plan for the South African market for each year, as well as managing the annual marketing budget. This involved introduction, launches and marketing of new financial services products, working closely with the BMW SA Head Office Sales and Marketing departments, and working closely with our dealer counterparts to ensure that they were well trained and motivated to sell our financial service products. - I was responsible for managing and approving all marketing communications (including dealer POS, direct marketing, advertising and marketing collateral).- I was instrumental in the creation of customer relationship management strategies, including customer journey mapping.
