  My responsibility was to assist and guide on Gender based violence and women's rights issues projects for grantees. Provide my technical assistance inputs to grantee to implement projects - overall program planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Develop grantees and stakeholder's skills and capacity to work on gender equality concern. Managing and coordinating the partnerships of grantee and govt. officials, support grantees to develop strategic plans and proposal, review grants, monitoring and evaluation of the projects. Conduct trainings on gender equality, prevention of GBV/VAW, women’s rights in conflict transformation period, support to organizing events for knowledge sharing and technical assistance. Contributing to the project planning, monitoring and evaluation and representing the project/organization in any relevant forums. Facilitating districts level Prevention of Gender Bases violence Taskforce in Batticaloa, Trincomalee and Polannaruwa. Show less
