  I was dismissed because two companies that I interviewed with (Eagle Companies and Dirt Works) called the owner and informed him of my search for employment . I Was hired to be the company bookkeeper. My first business was to repair one year of bookkeeping partiallly done by an emloyee entry and an accountant doing after-the-fact bookkeeping; bring all accounts to current. This was accomplished in record time while maintaining the daily work load.My second task was to correct the accounts receivables to current. Most invoicing was done on another system by requisition. Requisition billings are being entered into the QuickBooks system and then applying the payments while still maintaining the daily work load.While all repairs were being applied to QuickBooks the job extended to picking up the bookkeeping end of the job that the accountants were doing (reconciliations, payroll entries, etc.) and assuming the duties of the Office Manager/Bookkeeper/Receptionist. I have also been bringing all files for customers, vendors, employees, etc. up-to-date and accessible for the owners and project mannager of the company. Additionally, I have been preparing and maintaing records for all company loans, vehicles and equipment.I have tried to work with the owners and project manager to introduce them to the workings of the QuickBooks program so that they can continue to monitor the system with knowledge of daily accuracy.Enter all vendor invoices into A/P by vendor and process payments as directed by owners.Process all customer payments received.Enter all payroll records into QuickBooks as processed by payroll company.Reconile bank accounts and credit cards monthly.Product Balance Sheets and P&L Statements monthly.Make journal enries to adjust accountingrecords as directed by the owners.
