      My position within General Motors Global Brand team was my first experience with management of a global brand. While the General Motors brand was associated with company performance and press releases, it had little association with its products and vehicle brands, the features that touched its customer base. I had the opportunity to jump in on the re-branding of the General Motors brand, unifying the brand image to external stakeholders and highlighting the achievements of a 100+ year old company.In assessing how our brands were perceived to our customers and being responsible for updated the General Motors site, I identified an area of improvement to shift consumers perceptions of the brand. I presented a plan for an internal sustainability site to better inform our consumers of the company’s initiatives.My Role:• Coordinated with outside creative agency to develop an updated brand image for GeneralMotors, maintaining a unified brand image across all platforms leading to an enhancedGM.com site and consistent creative and messaging to external stakeholders• Presented a plan for an internal sustainability page within the General Motors site, developing an approach to highlight GM's sustainable practices and transition the consumer perception of the brand, enhancing engagement compared to previous external sustainability site• Launched "Partnerships to Move Humanity Forward" video and post on social platforms, leading to top headline on internal site Show less

      My first rotation in the TRACK Leadership Development Program, Diversity Marketing has opened my eyes to Global Marketing and the challenges of managing diversity initiatives between four brands. Serving as the data analyst for the team, I work closely with our agencies and brands to analyze data and developed four comprehensive presentations on the Diversity Marketing Vision for the U.S. automotive brands.
