      As a GIS Manager at the Municipality of Saida, in partnership with UN-Habitat's Regional Technical Office, I was responsible for managing GIS and data activities, particularly for the Cultural Heritage Project. My duties included designing surveys, managing data collection systems, mapping infrastructure, and conducting risk assessments for areas like the Saida Industrial Zone. I also linked population data to building distributions and mapped active projects in the region. I worked on georeferencing old maps, digitizing CAD maps, and conducting field surveys, including fire hydrant mapping. I conducted vulnerability assessments for hotspots and managed data for distributing vouchers to 30,000 beneficiaries. I also provided training to local NGOs in data collection, while coordinating with Information Management Officers to ensure accurate data flow between municipal teams and NGOs.Key achievements include the creation of a centralized data management system and a multi-layer GIS database for the municipality. This facilitated better coordination between departments. I developed reports, such as a detailed analysis and recommendation for Souks distribution, and established a data collection system to maintain updated datasets.       As part of the Disaster Risk Management unit under the Federation of Municipalities of Saida Zahrani, I managed data across 16 municipalities during the COVID-19 pandemic. My key duties included developing a comprehensive data management system to track cases, coordinating data flow between municipalities, the governorate, and other central authorities, and producing daily and weekly reports on the pandemic's evolution. I designed a live ArcGIS Hub platform for real-time updates and performed spatial analysis of COVID-19 data for each municipality.I also developed a data management strategy to ensure continuous data sharing and collaboration between the federation and municipalities. This included implementing deep learning models for data classification, conducting risk assessments using ArcGIS, and creating vulnerability assessments based on multiple indicators. In addition, I automated data sharing through online platforms and trained municipal staff on data collection and analysis tools.Key achievements include the development of a live COVID-19 tracking platform and a centralized database for emergency responses. I coordinated a task force across all municipalities to enhance communication and developed contingency plans, including resource mapping and risk assessment maps. My work involved regular reporting, creating clean geodatabases, and ensuring that standardized formats were used for reports and presentations. Additionally, I provided training to ensure that partners and stakeholders were proficient in primary data collection and analysis tools.Tools used include ArcGIS Pro, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, MySQL, and Python scripting, ensuring efficient data management and visualization throughout the crisis response. Additionally, I manage the ARK Perception Survey dashboard, generating and updating tension maps regularly.I also designed advanced Excel sheets for data cleaning and analysis, facilitated data collection for MSMEs and cooperatives, and created a public Power BI dashboard for this data. Moreover, I contribute to social media monitoring, integrate Age, Gender, and Diversity perspectives into sector initiatives, and maintain sector contact lists to ensure smooth data sharing with partners.
