      Summer Internship

      The internship was a mandatory requirement for my PG Degree at TISS. Prayas CLRA gave me an opportunity to work with the migrant brick-kiln workers in Ajmer, Rajasthan with a focus on Unionization of labour, Patterns of migration, Livelihood, Women issues and Child rights- measuring the success of Non-Residential Bridge Courses (NRBC) for children at the brick kilns.

      As a part of the Central People & Culture Team, I was utilising, constantly learning and sharpening my skills in the realm of HR operations, people development, management and solutioning. The details of my profile and projects undertaken are mentioned below:• Performance Management: My key result areas for the project include working on the launch and successful closure of the annual goal setting, mid-year review, year-end review, and other interim processes with high completion rates. Followed by appeals, PIP tracking, status reports/dashboards, campaigns and communications.• HR policies: Primary SPOC for all HR policies. Strategized and concluded the annual HR policy review, collaborated with senior management (research and drafts) for new policies to be introduced in the Firm.• Compliance management: Working and maintaining HR compliances on the internal tool and liasoning with the vendor. • Automation projects: Created proposals and worked on the automation of probation process and generation of appointment letters. • COVID-19 Central Resource Team: Successfully created the COVID-19 leave policy and the development of the leave system on ERP. As part of the Central Team I facilitated creation of communication, data creation for leadership updates and facilitated information on resources.• POSH: Central SPOC for the process, launched and tracked the completion of Firm wide POSH training module since June 2021. • Leave management: Central SPOC for all leave queries, leave system management and annual holiday calendar.
