  Visitor Assistance Park Ranger (GS-3)

  Served as a Visitor Assistance Park Ranger at a 55,000-acre multi-use lake with 499 campsites, 159 picnic sites, 18 boat ramps, 2 beaches, 34 hunter/fisherman access lots, a large dam and hydroelectric power plant, Class A visitor center, and over 2 million annual visitors. Primary duties included assisting visitors and ensuring public safety, conducting daily patrols, and performing maintenance activities.

  Serve as a Visitor Services Information Assistant for the 550,000-acre Red Rock Ranger District which includes Arizona's only two wild and scenic rivers, six wilderness areas, numerous heritage/archeological sites, and over 400 miles of hiking trails. Primary duties include assisting over 3 million annual visitors and informing them about the area, selling recreation passes and timber/mineral permits, and functioning as the webmaster for our district.
