  Hydrology & Hydraulics Intern - 6 weeks, Summer 2020As an H&H intern, I learned about the process of completing a drainage study for roadway projects. I was tasked with drawing drainage areas, calculating runoff flows, and sizing proposed ditches and storm sewer based on calculations. I was also introduced to SWMM modeling and built a SWMM model for the storm sewer along a small segment of IH 45. I was also exposed to 2D SWMM modeling during my time as an intern.Utility Design Intern - 14 weeks, Summer 2019As a Utility Design Intern, I learned about telecommunication utilities, specifically AT&T facilities. I was tasked with conflict investigations and proposed plans of adjustment based on new projects that were in conflict with existing AT&T facilities.
