      Day to day activities include assessing grant applications, setting up and making payments and reviewing monitoring information. Key skills include making judgements against programme criteria, report writing, ensuring accuracy of data and building relationships both internal and external. I have also engaged with several other opportunities:• Supported the implementation of a new funding management system. Before the system went live, worked to ensure I was prepared to support colleagues with any issues through delivering information sessions and floor walking for the first few weeks of the introduction of the system• Developing new programmes – took a key role in designing and developing the guidance, assessment criteria, communications and the recruitment and training of staff• Clearing a backlog – took the lead role in recruiting and training a team of seven people to clear a backlog of work created by the implementation of a new system.
