  My role as a Brand Representative was to aid and encourage customers to buy the company's products. I did so through conversing with each customer and finding out what they were looking for. This experience taught me how to initiate conversations and discover how to increase customer satisfaction. I often listened to customer complaints and discussed them with my manager.

  Throughout my past two summers, I have been working for the Club at Nevillewood. I chose to work here because it increased my communication and leadership skills. As a server for prestigious members, I was able to become more personable among others. I learned how to encourage my colleagues to speak to members more often in order to increase our tips for that day. Not only did I serve the members food and beverages, but I had conversations with them and asked how we can make their experience better.   During my experience at Strouds, I was able to further gain communication and leadership skills. I was required to maintain the Boathouse while attending to customer needs. Working with new equipment called for quick learning and understanding. I was able to learn many new concepts while also learning how a business operates. The opportunity to learn how a business operates increased my knowledge and forced me to apply my current education knowledge.

  Corporate Finance Intern

  In this internship experience, I learned new skills from professionalism to how to operate new platforms. I was specifically working with the Key Technology and Operations finance group. In this group I worked mainly with forecasting models, PowerPoint presentations, and burn reports in Tableau. Along with gaining hard skills, I was able to enhance my networking skills through learning labs that KeyBank provided for us. These labs gave us the opportunity to network with a variety of employees at KeyBank and executives. The finance interns also had the chance to speak to the CFO and other important executives. We were able to have conversations and ask multiple questions. Being an intern at Key provided me with a plethora of new knowledge and chances to learn more about the opportunities offered in the finance field. Show less
