Involved in re-organising and aligning the department to Barclays Capital as part of the initial integration post the Barclays acquisition of Absa Bank Ltd. I acted as the go-between business and IT to ensure that requirements were appropriately defined, designed and developed. Responsible for team of approximately 18 people consisting of business analysts, developers, project managers and administrators, testers and trainers. I was responsible for reporting the daily positions on the FX Trading Desk as well as dealing with the entire process in the back office from confirmation to settlement. I was also responsible for all risk management and regulatory reporting.

South Africa) and over 30 different application sources.Programme is instrumental in identifying data issues across the various sources and putting together operating models to effectively remediate these issues and to maintain the data going forward.This effort involves setting up stewardship functions and data owners in country and getting country and South African teams to work together to deal the issues identified.The work done through this data programme and focus resulted in less time to market for the implementation of the applications and functions within Finance and Treasury Capital Management.
