Introduced directional drilling for groundwater resources for Gallup in 2005 to enhance formation yield and production and reduce the potential for drilling dry wells in karstic formations. Incorporated the use of unmanned aerial systems (Drones) in 2013 for studying ecosystem transformations associated with climatic changes and groundwater withdrawals, geologic hazards such as landslides and subsidence fissures, building inspections, construction and remedaition monitoring, and hazardous materials emergency response to minimize potential personnel exposure to unsafe conditions using a variety of multispectral imaging tools that include the visual spectrum, near infrared, full spectrum infrared, point cloud imaging, Slantrange image capturing, and LIDAR. Worked closely with the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science to further define the extent of Permian stratigraphy and type-section revisions.
