This transition was a cost of 2.1 million dollars per location, moving into the new merchandising strategy of home decorating, patio & outdoor and interior design. During this time, I led a team of Asset Protection Managers and Store Management teams to reduce general liability and workman's compensation costs to less than half of expectation and budget. Our team led the company in decreasing risk management charges, reducing inventory shrink and combating inventory losses, during the construction and store opening phases.
