      This level oversees five divisions & I report directly to the Financial Director of the Rigids board. Key responsibilities include:- Adhoc analyses of financial information on a group & individual division basis- Monitoring of control deficiencies across all the divisions- Compilation of reports on the status of control deficiencies for use at the Board meetings- Compilation of the monthly group financial reporting pack- Development of a model that tracks whether the business was making relevant targets set by head office & how the business could make the targets set- Monitoring the Return on Capital Employed & Net Working Capital ratios- Assisted in the interpretations of International Financial Reporting Standards, with specific reference to IFRIC 4.- Analyse & assist management of the debtors book at one of the divisions- Botswana tax computation for Liquid Botswana, including provisional payment calculations & liaising with Deloitte Botswana tax department.- Providing Weekly Update Summaries for all the divisions on Sales & Trading Income informationI have received training in the following areas: Hyperion – Nampak’s reporting package  JD Edwards – Nampak’s accounting package Business Intelligence – a reporting toolMonthly deadlines at Nampak are tight & I was able to draw on my experience from Deloitte in order to cope effectively with the deadlines. Financial ratios play a big part in my day to day experience at Nampak & these are constantly monitored through the model I developed, which reflects where there is room for improvement. Controls are an integral part of Nampak’s success, therefore there was emphasis on control deficiencies & the procedures put in place to rectify the deficiencies. These are discussed at every board meeting using a report that I developed.
