  Childcare Development Worker

  I have responsibility for working with childcare providers across the city to ensure sufficiency of places, quality, sustainibility and regulatory compliance. My role includes coordinating complex projects within a team to create new childcare places involving capital and revenue budgets, building works, liason with childcare providers, schools, contractors, many Council departments and private companies. I lead on recruitment and retention initiatives to support the childcare sector.
