  Primary Care Pharmacist working across 60+ GP practices in Nottingham City. My role involved helping doctors and other healthcare professionals prescribe more cost-effectively. (short version)As a Senior Pharmacist I was responsible for analysing GP ePACT prescribing data and preparing and presenting the Annual Prescribing Report to GPs, other prescribers and practice managers. The report detailed the performance of GP practices across numerous prescribing indicators and recommended ways in which the practices could prescribe more cost-effectively. It also helped to identify clinical variation across the CCG and identify GP practices who were outliers for particular prescribing indicators. My role also involved giving presentations and providing training on a range of prescribing topics and evidence-based practice to GPs, Pharmacists and other prescribers and healthcare professionalsI started working for the CCG (then PCT) as a practice pharmacist where I was assigned to provide prescribing support to a number of GP practices in Nottingham CIty.
