  ­Maintain and keep current all files of pertinent FAR, specifications, type certification data sheets, and AD’s- Review of all technical data on all articles overhauled, repaired or manufactured, and kept current with latest revisions and distribute accordingly- Maintain regular checks on all inspection tools and the calibration of inspection and test equipment used by the facility and personal equipment used by mechanics or technicians. Maintain a record of all inspections and calibrations performed.- Control rejected and unserviceable parts to assure prevention and reuse as serviceable parts- Perform Internal Audits on a semi-annual basis, follow up with Corrective Action Reports when necessary- Train supervisors and team leaders on all manuals and process specifications- Train inspectors on any final and in-process inspection procedures- Maintain and control final acceptance of all incoming material, including new parts, supplies and work performed by outside sources in relation to refurb work- Assist Engineering and Purchasing Departments with supplier selections- Maintain and perform Vendor Surveillance Audits- Maintain Approved Supplier List- Maintain a Tooling Production Manual detailing parts that can be run on each tool- Maintain and update all manuals issued internally and coordinate changes with customers and the FAA- Assume responsibilities of Chief Inspector in his/her absence- Direct, plan and lay out details of inspection standards, methods and procedures used by this facility- DMIR for FAA MIDO- Perform and schedule all internal auditing for refurb, and acts as point of contact for all customer audits Show less
