  1. Review and track all purchase orders and update the Goods in Transit Sheet accordingly with all the necessary details for containers shipment and grain vessels 2. Keeping a record of all purchase orders, contracts, shipping documents and anything other related documents3. Expediting all materials to agreed schedules and escalating where necessary, with a specific focus on critical materials, and confirms receipt of purchase orders , laytime calculations 4. Coordinate with stores/warehouse team to ensure all shipments are received well and updated in ERP5. Following up for Inventory report, keep track of all inventory on hand and re-ensure the qty variance if any6. Communicate changes in schedules and respond to order status updates7. Track all the inbound shipments, communicate with agent or shipping line for ETA update. Expediting bulk vessels with lay time calculation. 8. Request for payments to the supplier as per the PO terms and follow up with accounts for thepayments9. Create estimation for clearing of a shipment and upon clearance finalise the landed cost10. Examining landed cost sheet for inconsistencies, such as mischarges 11. Performing clerical duties, and maintaining accurate records and files of activities12. Solve any issues related to shipping delays and communicate to all the stakeholders13. Providing timely information and support to suppliers and internal stakeholders14. Identifying disruptions in the supplier delivery schedules, communicate changes in schedulesand respond to the order status updates15. Issue regular expediting status reports as required to all stakeholders16. Regularly checking supplier order backlogs and following up, communicating any potentialissues to logistics and the relevant buyer(s)17.
