  I kept developmentally disabled clients safe and engaged in their residential facility, making them laugh, keeping them entertained and sharing local cultural landmarks on my outings with them, by knowing the safety logistics required while working with them, working with fellow staff to make sure that the home itself was properly maintained and keeping a dialogue with my supervisor, the family of the clients and the nurse.

I also helped educate and entertain lower-functioning developmentally disabled adults both on-site and in the community, on-site with the help of fellow staff members and in the community by myself sharing inspirational sights and sounds, by utilizing educational multimedia and researching places accessible and interesting to this population.
