      Altak is a market-leading plastics manufacturer, producing over 50 high-end products using state-of-the-art manufacturing machinery. It has a headcount of over 150 employees with a production capacity of 300MT/month.I initially joined as their production manager and, after twice being promoted, and spending five years leading their sales division, I’m now acting as the group General Manager.Key Responsibilities & Achievements:• Increased sales by 15% YoY by managing relationships with suppliers, vendors, sponsors, local community partners, and international clients• Import/Export processing of all orders and documentation, including quote valuation and assisting clients with cost-effective sourcing distribution, accounting for poor transportation infrastructure and roadside piracy• Created a robust daily production plan based on sales requirements and machine availability to optimise production• Daily labour costs optimisation; studying each position and assigning only necessary personnel to jobs, including labour by day, and working with reliable vendors for spare parts purchasing• Increased efficiency by building specialised teams within departments, solving complex problems with maintenance, repairs, and changing moulds• Involved in almost all aspects of production management, from AC maintenance scheduling to the installation and running of a 13-ton cooling machine• Identified mould-changing inefficiency, costing production time of 5-6 hours per day for 3-4 days a month.
