  Collaborating with the US team in the Heat Assisted Magnetic Recording (HAMR) technology development to ramp up in Penang. Involved in the new process introduction and concept changes on HAMR, and setting up builds to evaluate those changes/improvements. Monitoring the build matrices such as throughput yield, machining yield, cycle time, etc... Worked with cross functional teams (PDI, process, production, quality, planner) in rootcausing activities wherever a build issue arise. Oversee the overall released products' performance, and attend to products' issue that feedback from the downstream customers in HGA/Drive. Provide rootcausing support, and corrective actions whenever necessary and possible. Setting up Reaction Plan for all Out-of-box product performance monitoring for instant problem reaction and treatment. Optimized the in-line monitoring in several stations to monitor the product performance after the respective processes. Work on process changes classification and advise the requirement for qualifying a certain process changes, to ensure the changes wouldn't be affecting the downstream performance. Show less
