  I was promoted to oversee forecasting, inventory and replenishment planning for six distribution centers (w/ a monthly inventory average of $80-$90M.) In this position, I ensure weekly $3-$5M weekly replenishment pushes to the buying team. I also delve into complex data, uncover patterns, fine-tune processes, and improve both supply chain & logistics operations and metrics.Within a short period of time, I've implemented many best practices for demand planning in key areas of data structure, business processes and standardization to APIC (CSCP) standards.Select Highlights:• Dramatically reduced excess inventory across six national distribution centers by analyzing inventory and replenishment controls then implementing a new inventory optimization policy. These efforts reduced the safety stock base for this category from $5M to a $2-$3M base.• Spearheaded and managed a new automated inventory returns program to make is easier for 370 member stores to return more than $9.5M of inventory to the distribution centers, while charging appropriate restock fees and minimizing excess corporate inventory.• Served as project lead for Logility 7.6 to 8.0 upgrade. This effort aimed to reduce manual efforts in managing store returns. Select Highlights: Increased ease of returns, while minimizing acceptance of older, overstocked inventory.Doubled liquidation of obsolete inventory to $2.2 million a year through discounted sales to stores and third parties, increased vendor returns through improved vendor collaboration and disposal of dead inventory.
