  As the Deputy Executive Director for the California Association of School Counselors, I oversee statewide Professional Development and LEA outreach. In addition to consultation with 58 counties and over 1000 districts related to Counselor training and technical assistance, I engage in advocacy efforts for the profession through meetings with state government agency staff and legislators. I support School Counselor Residency programs through participation in the CA School Counselor Residency network and we are partnered with Tulare COE on the first SCR in the state and nation. We provide consultation, professional development and are conducting research on the efficacy of this innovative model. Show less
