We must record all evidential records and witness statements to a standard acceptable to the rules of evidence. We report equipment failure to the supervisor to maximise operation of the system. We maintain a secure system for providing data in accordance with the regulations set up by the Council and ensure the security of the control room and equipment is maintained at all times We also assist the police in searching for missing persons and suspicious people and vehicles.   I was based at Ineos Salt Business, Weston Point, Runcorn. On site I supervised a team of four guards operating a busy security weighbridge. On a day to day basis I liaised with the 24-hour control room to book on and off, also to manage any staff absences and cover. We operate the weighbridge, weighing in and out vehicles to make sure the customers are billed correctly, we create CMR’s (consignment note) and COC’s (Certificate of Conformity) for the product to be delivered. We also act as a reception area for visitors to site ensuring they are fully equipped with the PPE required for visiting site. I have to create weekly and monthly KPI’s for vehicles, visitors and contractors coming to site. I was also responsible for giving site Inductions to contractors and drivers involving a video presentation, questionnaire and then for the drivers I wrote the safe systems of work and gave practical training on the brand new fall prevention system, this replaced the fall arrest system that allows driver to safe open and close their lids to be filled whilst on site.
