  In the scheme of South-South Corporation, The Norwegian Agency for Exchange Cooperation (Norec), an executive body under the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, granted the Young Professionals Exchange program to use the exchange model to learn from each other and develop. My first participation as an attendee from LIFE Centre temporary located to the Integrated Rural Health Developing and Training Center in Nepal for one year, were conducting baseline assessment, applying well-understanding of Community based Organisation model to identify the gaps of Female Community Health Workers' (FCHVs) Performance. Its recommendations proposed to the improvement of their working conditions, fundraising activities and policy advocacy. To further information, FCHVs are well-known as a workforce of health system, particularly deliver primary healthcare services in rural Nepal. Show less

  The project is part of the overall Inclusion Program supported by USAID, target to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities, and central to the Agent Orange Victims. For the progamme has implemented in Kon Tum and Binh Dinh that called the Area 2, my role has mostly based in Kon Tum and some independent-living activities in Binh Dinh. Kon Tum is more neccessarily technical assist due to its infracstructure and set-up are at an early stage. The outcome is provision of social support and social inclusion services for persons with disabilities including assistive devices and home-based care. Therefore, building partnership with Health Department and its structure is a core responsibility of this position. Capacity buiding, policy advocacy, evidence-based decision making need to be fulfilled at least. Show less
