    • MWH, now part of Stantec

      Mar 2002 - Aug 2003
      Associate Hydrogeologist

As an associate hydrogeologist, I supervised drilling, installation, and development of groundwater monitoring wells for federal CERCLA and RCRA superfund projects. I produced borehole and well development parameter logs; wrote daily reports, including deviations from the work plan and health and safety hazard assessments; and conducted routine sampling of groundwater monitoring wells as part of ongoing site investigations. I also produced maps, diagrams, and tables for use in technical reports. Show less

    • Trigon Engineering Consultants, Inc

      Mar 2005 - Jun 2007
      Assistant Project Manager

As an assistant project manager and environmental scientist, I was involved in numerous ongoing industrial groundwater monitoring projects. I completed several industrial and residential remediation projects, which required the removal of leaking underground storage tanks. I was successful in bringing those sites into regulatory compliance within planned budgets. I supervised groundwater well drilling, installation, and development; collected soil and groundwater samples to track contamination migration; and performed Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments. Other responsibilities included providing assistance with workflow, scheduling and reporting of fieldwork procedures, and writing technical reports of our findings. I was also responsible for the operation of a Geoprobe direct push sampling drill. Show less

Manage field and reporting activities for several upstream oil and gas environmental remediation and assessment sites located throughout Texas. Provide technical support for aquifer testing, contaminant fate and transport evaluations, and hydrologic modeling. Routinely conduct independent analysis of light non-aqueous phase liquid (LNAPL) plumes. Conducted a natural source zone depletion study (NSZD) to evaluate emerging techniques for the assessment of LNAPL plume attenuation. Other routine responsibilities include scheduling and resourcing of groundwater monitoring and sampling, analysis of groundwater and soil assessment data, communication with third party consultants, and preparation of client deliverables.
