      I was solely responsible for all internal and external communication within this provincial service. This included being the spokesperson for the service, creating media releases, creating and maintaining relationships with media and other stakeholders, managing public awareness, coordinating citizen's queries and complaints. Internally I was responsible for creating and publishing the newsletter (content, editorial, design and distribution) and managed the Facebook page. I contributed to weekly director's meetings and monthly provincial meetings. In addition to my communication work, I also recorded the service's statistics (calls responded to, patients treated etc.) and reported this weekly to my directors. Show less

LCIS is a specialist service which works with families and schools to support and develop provision for children and young people with social communication difficulties, autism and developmental language disorder. I was responsible for a caseload of children with autism in a cluster of Primary- and Secondary schools and worked alongside them to deliver specialist interventions.
