The role focused on formulating and implementing the Fund’s strategy to optimise performance through active investment and asset management (income and capital strategies), managing the capital requirements of the Fund (debt and equity), and ensuring that the most appropriate sources of funding are accessed. The scope of the role encompassed investor engagement and governance of the AMP Capital Pooled Property Funds (including board composition, independence, diversity), ESG initiatives, operational accountability structures, compliance, conflicts regarding interest, related party transactions and unitholder rights. Managed the Office & Industrial Investment Analytics team with a focus on providing reliable financial modelling and analysis as a basis for optimising returns, and was accountable for the investment performance of the portfolio of assets.
