LCJP uses restorative justice to give victims of crime a voice and offenders an opportunity to right their wrongs. Instead of going to court and possibly prison, offenders are given a chance to meet with their victims and community members in a respectful process where they can learn the full impact of their crime and agree to repair the harm they caused. Over 95% of participants in our restorative processes (offenders, victims, parents, friends, officers and community members) report feeling satisfied with their experience.
