      • Prepared schedules and participated in the installation, servicing, and repairs of equipment in the hospital which served over 100,000 people from both far and near.• Disseminating guidelines on the appropriate use of equipment, and structured training for about 102 staff.• Implementing procedures, protocols, and standards for maintenance programs in the facility which reduced equipment downtime by 60%.• Ensuring compliance on the appropriate use of equipment ensuring judicious use of equipment accessories and spares parts resulting in a reduction in over purchase of accessories and adequate use of resources.• Created the first database for over 512 pieces of equipment in the facility and designed and successfully implemented the first planned maintenance planned. • Implemented skills gained from undergoing training from Namarka’s service technician ( Mr. Damba) to service hematology analyser (Sysmex kx-21) and Chemistry analyser (Junoir Spectra), hence drastically reducing downtime and subsequently reducing the waiting time of patient at the medical laboratory department. • Rehabilitated the Radiography unit that was down for over 2years. This saved the hospital over Gh15000 and generated between GH1000 to GH 2000 monthly as internal generated fund (IGF), it also provided employment for an X-ray Technician and saved the indigenes from traveling for over 54km to receive the same services.• Building a distillation plant out of an outmoded autoclave provide enough distilled water for nurses to use in treating wounds and for the Lab scientist to prepare reagents. Also, medical equipment such as hematology analysers, clinical chemistry analysers, tabletop autoclaves, infant incubators and oxygen concentrators that require a regular supply of distilled water in their function had a constant supply.
