      Co-Worship Leader/Summer Staff

I led worship with another staff member, requiring usage of guitar, piano, and vocal skills. This position also involved working behind the scenes to make camp run smoothly for campers, including making and serving meals, life guarding, and cleaning and restocking facilities. Most of all, the position involved working as a servant of Christ in a place very dear to my heart.

      May 2014 - now

In this position, I led worship for kindergarten through high school aged camps, requiring usage of guitar, piano, violin, and vocal skills. In this position, I was fully accountable for the happenings of the chapel, including interactions with the changing pastors each week, praying over the decisions for worship services, working the computer software for both the sermons and song lyrics, and leading the other staff members comprising the worship team. Outside worship leading, this position also involved working behind the scenes to make camp run smoothly for campers, including making and serving meals, lifeguarding, and cleaning and restocking facilities. Laboratory Assistant

I worked with Anderson University students taking the Chemistry 1000 course. In this entry-level chemistry course, I was able to assist students in their completion of weekly labs. I was involved in the set-up and tear-down of the lab, working closely with the other assistants in the lab as well as two chemistry professors at the university. Most of all, I partnered with the students, helping to ensure their understanding of the material.

      Student Textbook Editor

As a student textbook editor, I was given the privilege of editing Dr. Jay L. Wile's latest textbook, Discovering Design with Chemistry. This book was designed for use by high school chemistry students studying in a home school setting. As the student editor, my task in reviewing the 16 chapter book was to read from the perspective a student, looking for issues that would inhibit clarity, functionality, and overall understanding for students. Additionally, I was the editor charged with the job of working out the some 900 problems included in the text, looking for miscalculations and faults in the consistency of significant digits. The task was completed at pace with the author as he developed the book in compliance with a rigorous deadline. Show less

      Discipleship Coordinator

Discipleship Coordinators are volunteer, upper-classmen women at Anderson with a heart for "doing life" with freshman females. In filling this position, I lived on a freshman floor with approximately 20 women, leading a weekly Bible study and always keeping my door open for positive interaction and encouragement. The mission of this position was to help these new female students at Anderson begin their education with a Christ-centered focus. The job was completed by closely interacting with the resident assistant of the dorm floor. Show less
