  My wife Joy and I bought Domaine de Beausoleil in October 2015 to start a new life here in South West France. Although busy renovating and repairing, I still have an interest in dementia care and I am available to provide training and consultancy after 18 years working in this area. Flights are cheap back to the UK! As for our business here, Domaine de Beausoleil is set on the edge of the village of Lauzun in the Lot. It offers four holiday gites for 2 to 20 people. In addition the new hosts will be offering meals to guests, plus occasional Sunday lunches and themed food evenings. We love to cook (Joy is a MasterChef finalist!).The four gites at Domaine de Beausoleil are set around a central courtyard, set in 5 hectares (12 acres) of countryside and gardens. Each gite has its own private outside sitting area, so it's up to you if wish to socialise with other guests or enjoy precious time by yourselves. Each gite can be booked separately or for larger groups, so you choose the combination of accommodation to suit your needs. You can even book the whole place for those special family and friends get togethers! One gite for four people has central heating and is additionally available from October to April.Lunch and evening meals with local wines at a great price. Cookery lessons and wine tasting tours. Domaine de Beausoleil is within walking distance (appx. 1km) of the picturesque 13th century village of Lauzun in the department of the Lot et Garonne.
