In order to earn this job, I had to pass background checks, take several courses on general child safety/how to be appropriate with children, interact with several children, coworkers, and parents on a daily basis, and become CPR/First Aid Certified. I was apart of the wait staff, where I had to dress professionally, prepare a dining hall, serve food, and prepare the dining hall for the next day. This required our team to be a well-oiled machine. I had to leave this job due to inevitable budget cuts, which led to the elimination of the wait staff.

  Camp Seafarer for Girls -I worked at this camp for two consecutive summers during college (2010 and 2011). My titles were: Senior Counselor in Charge/Ropes Staff. My responsibilities included: Living at the camp for 12 consecutive weeks, being CPR/First Aid certified, passing background checks, taking several child safety courses, learning all emergency drills, leading devotions, teaching kids everything about climbing, running a zip line, being completely responsible for a cabin of 13 girls approx. 13 years old, and writing weekly letters to each of their parents.
